How we handle your information.

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Effective immediately on publication

InterGen Marketing ("we", "us", or "our") is a New Zealand partnership. We take your privacy seriously and comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its thirteen Information Privacy Principles (IPPs).

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you engage with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. By using our services or submitting an intake form, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Who we are

InterGen Marketing is a New Zealand-based partnership providing one-time, owned marketing systems for service businesses. Our primary contact for privacy matters is:

2. What information we collect

We collect personal and business information you give us directly, including:

3. Why we collect it

We only collect information that is necessary to:

  1. Determine whether your business is a good fit before engaging.
  2. Produce the agreed deliverables (Positioning Document, Email Sequence, Ad Creatives, Inbound Conversion Guide).
  3. Communicate with you about the project, scheduling, payments, and ongoing support.
  4. Process payment for the agreed fee.
  5. Improve our internal frameworks based on aggregated, anonymised patterns across engagements.
  6. Comply with our legal and accounting obligations under New Zealand law.

We do not collect or process information for any purpose unrelated to delivering and supporting our services.

4. How we collect it

Information is collected through the channels you choose to engage with us:

We do not buy, scrape, or otherwise obtain personal information about you from third parties.

5. Third-party processors

To deliver the service, we rely on a small number of trusted processors. Each processor only receives the information necessary for the function it performs, and each is bound by its own privacy and security obligations:

Typeform

Used to collect your intake responses. Data is transmitted and stored on Typeform's secure infrastructure. Their privacy policy is available at typeform.com/help/privacy-policy.

Stripe

Used to process payment securely. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. We never see or store your full payment card details. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

n8n

We use n8n to automate internal workflows (such as moving brief data between systems and triggering scheduled tasks). Where n8n processes your data on our behalf, it acts as our data processor under the Privacy Act 2020.

Some of these processors are based outside New Zealand (notably Stripe and Typeform, which are headquartered in the United States). By submitting information through these tools, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in jurisdictions outside New Zealand, with privacy frameworks that may differ from ours. Each processor we use offers contractual protections and operates under recognised international privacy standards.

6. How long we keep your information

We retain your information only as long as we need it to provide the service, meet our legal and tax obligations, or resolve disputes:

7. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access or disclosure. These steps include encrypted storage, restricted internal access, secure passwords, and use of reputable third-party processors with their own security obligations.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is ever 100% secure. While we follow industry-standard practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email harry@intergenmarketing.com. We will respond to verified requests within 20 working days, as required by the Privacy Act.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website itself uses minimal cookies. We do not currently run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly, and the disclosure will be visible before the data is collected.

10. Marketing communications

If you have engaged with us or submitted an enquiry, we may occasionally contact you with relevant updates. You can unsubscribe from any communication at any time, either by replying directly or by following the unsubscribe link included in every email.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete the information promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our processors, or the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify active clients directly.
